Merch Design for Lombok Plastic Free

For this project, I had the meaningful opportunity to design a new merchandise shirt for Lombok Plastic Free, an initiative committed to reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainability on the island of Lombok.

My inspiration came directly from the island itself, a place of natural beauty and vibrant community, but also one that faces growing environmental challenges. Through this design, I wanted to reflect both the urgency of the cause and the hope that comes from collective action.

The shirt incorporates imagery of ocean waves, coral reefs, and local wildlife, blended with bold, clean lines to emphasize clarity and purpose. I aimed to create a visual that feels both empowering and grounded, as reminder that even small steps, like saying no to single-use plastic, can ripple outward and create lasting impact.

I created this design free of charge as a way to support the mission of Lombok Plastic Free and contribute to the ongoing work of protecting this incredible island.

By wearing this shirt, supporters become part of a movement that celebrates the beauty of Lombok while standing up for its future. I hope the design inspires awareness, conversation, and pride in protecting the island we love.
